Why work with us?

Joining Homeland Care means helping people build on what they already do well, stay part of their community and make the choices that shape their lives.

Our guiding values

We start with the individual – their strengths and the way they see the world. We want to help people rediscover hope, stay positive and take charge of their own decisions. If that resonates with you, we would like to hear from you. More detail is on Our Mission.

  • Dignity – honouring each person's background and choices.
  • Self-determination – supporting people to lead.
  • Belonging – strengthening ties with family, friends and community.

Roles in our team

The support we provide shows the variety of work available:

  • accompanying people to appointments, outings and community events;
  • helping with transport, shopping and keeping in touch with others;
  • assisting people with education and finding employment;
  • overseeing and coordinating support so it is delivered well.

Certain positions call for specific qualifications and screening checks. Details of any open positions appear on our Careers page.

Volunteer with us

Strong communities are built on shared skills and knowledge. You do not need years of experience to volunteer – time, care and a willingness to help are valuable too. Visit our Community Network page to find out more.
